What happens when you connect AI to your business systems?

The short answer In my case, within minutes it found money going cold — a whole bunch of jobs nobody had chased, some quiet since May.

What I actually did

I connected the AI to our customer system — read-only, and safety-checked first. I didn't automate anything yet. The first job was simpler: we were all using the system slightly differently, working against each other's data. You can't automate a mess — you just make the mess faster. So the AI looked, and held up a mirror: here's a whole bunch of jobs nobody has chased.
